At Saint James' Church, we are proud to work with and support a number of area non-profits, both directly and through our Community Development Center, to extend our reach out into the greater Texarkana community.
Missions and organizations we support:
Randy Sams' is a flagship homeless shelter and support organzation for the unhoused in our community, and was founded from the Parish in memory of a parishioner who died during his senior year of high school.
Hills And Valleys Refuge is a Christ centered transitional home and program for at risk youth. We seek to provide housing, education, and mentoring to youth who are leaving the state foster system but lack family, housing, and other resources.
Our primary mission is helping cancer patients of any type cover costs or meet whatever needs that insurance may not cover. Our desire is to give a hand up not just a hand out, so we are not limited to cancer patients alone.
The Joseph Thomas Foundation assists medically fragile children with the procurement of medical equipment and/or services when other sources are unable to assist.
